I changed my mind. Lets blame this whole mess on Greg Lemond. Almost as much fun as a French conspiracy.

I like big George, but he isn't a GC contender in the grand tours IMO.

I hope it's a good Tour, and not a joke like last year.

Keep talking about it you guys...I need to get rallied up for it. I've been feeling rather blah in regards to racing lately.
Too bad because I really love watching the races I've recorded when I'm on the trainer.
I used to read all the details now I feel like I don't give a crap. I'm not a Levi fan and George is nice but he also never really did anything for me although I do root for him.
I can't think of anyone off hand that I'd like to say I really hope they win the GC.
Oh yeah, Levi won't be in the tour anyway.
I'm sorry to say I have never been affected again the way I was when Lance gave Jan "The Look" and took off on the Alpe.
Those days are gone and the closest we came was Vino's Vuelta win a few years ago and look at him.
Help me remember some other great wins in recent years.

Team Highroad is right in our backyard. It's pretty cool seeing them train on the roads we use everyday. I can't help but route for George, but I kinda agree that he's probably not a contender.

I thought I read later this afternoon that he could ride Suisse. So, who knows there.

Sad he's out of the Tour, but when you screw up... as someone else said, he should probably grow up and wait til he isn't racing anymore to play around (but then it wouldn't be fun).

My brother and I finally got around to watching more of the Giro last night, and I have to admit that was a classy move by him to let his teammate take the win in one of the later transition stages. I'm still considering banning your posts for that comment though. :D

Didn't know for sure and had to look it up, and it looks like they're in. Those guys definitely made the race a lot more fun to watch last year.

The full list of invited teams are on the news update from 3/20/2008:

How about your boy Tom getting nicked at the line in April by celebrating too early? ](*,)
