I have been looking forward to this for the past two weeks. I had a list of parts needed, and wads of cash - but a little spil on the bike yesterday has left me on the couch for the next couple of days.

Please post up the deals you guys got! I'm bummed I missed it, but can at least be happy to see others getting the hookup this weekend...

Honestly, I was a little dissappointed. I was hoping to get a few things but didn't really find them. (I was there about 8:30.) I'm sure people got some good deals. Either way it is always fun to go look at bike stuff.

Good deals. I got a trunk rack, two salsa skewers, two chamois shorts, clamp on grips, tail light and a Mavic front wheel and tubeless tire all for just over $40 :)

I got there just before 8:00 am. I suppose if you were looking for beat up high-end road stuff, there were some deals, but I didn't find much that I needed. I did spend $4 on a pair of 24" Intense Microknobbies and tubes.

Compared to the last swap meet, people were much more proud of their wares... like the guy who had some trashed XTR crank arms for $150. wow

I picked up a couple $5 jerseys, $5 seatbag, and some tire levers. AND and Serfas light from the Serfas booth/area THAT DOESN'T EVEN WORK!!!!

I got home after and tried changing out the batteries (none of them worked there, I figured they were all out of batteries) and the d*mn light doesn't work!!! I'm pretty pissed about that. I've already emailed them in hopes of getting my whopping $5 back (its about the principles of the matter).

I was not impressed. As des and tweasol mentioned there were a few deals. I found some coolmax socks that say POLICE, bought those for $5.

Some of the cycling clothing was pretty cheap, shirts for $5. There was a custom SS builder with some very nice steel bikes for decent prices.

I guess I wasn't in the mood to pick through piles of old bike parts, becuase it seemed like most of the other 10-12 vendors had a lot of beat-up stuff (crap) to pick through.

There were no great deals on on upper end parts. Used FOX forks for $400. Lots of no name parts & tires, the Kenda's must have sold out by 9:00am.

But - Thanks to Serfas for hosting the event and giving both vendors and buyers a place to come together in the Flea Market/Swap Meet style setting. I saw a lot of people with armloads of tires, and various other parts, just nothing I was in need of.

    FOX didn't show up.

That guy was originally asking $450 for those 08 TALAS 32 forks, and not budging on the price (from what I overheard) then later I heard him say $400, then I later heard him say $300 - now that was a decent deal (although they were a little tattered).

The deal of the year was this Intense 5.5. He was originally asking $2200, but said he may take less if cash were waved in front of him. ;) Ok, it's a buddy's bike.

That and the Santa Cruz Blur LT, with Crank Bros Wheels for the same price was also a great deal. If I had 2g's I would have bought the 5.5
