Not sure if you are a conservative or a liberal? (WARNING POLITICAL CONTENT!)

If you ever wondered what side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!


- If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
- If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

- If a conservative is a vegetarian , he doesn't eat meat.
- If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

- If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
- A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.

- If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host , he switches channels.
- Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down.

- If a conservative is a nonbeliever, he doesn't go to church.
- A liberal nonbeliever wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

- If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
- A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.

- If a conservative reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.
- A liberal will delete it because he's "offended". (This was an e-mail)

I figure I'm neither because I want to beat the crap out of Keith Oberlman and Glen Beck equally.
On that note, I'm convinced that a big part of our societal problems these days is the inability to give someone who deserves it a good ass whoopin. People would be a lot more courteous if they knew a knuckle sandwich was in the offering for being an asshole.

Well, this is probably the only politically charged thread I will ever respond to. Not because I don't like a heated debate. Nor is it because I dislike politics. It's because I am surounded by buisness and politics all day (i.e. I took several of my clients to have lunch with Congressman Ed Royce today) and I prefer to keep most of my participation on this site either bike related or light hearted. However, if anyone is curious where I am on the political spectrum, here you go:

I'm one of those right-wing, neo-con, gun-loving, and any other nickname the left would like to come up with, conservatives Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow warned you about.

But, I prefer to stick to MTBR on this site. :wave:

 

If a liberal doesn't want an abortion she won't get one.
If a conservative doesn't want an abortion, she'll do everything in her power to make sure no one is able to have one.

If 2 people who love each other want to marry, a liberal will rejoice.
If you are a conservative, you can be an adulterer, wife abuser, child abuser, but as long as you are a man and want to marry a women, you can.

If a liberal doesn't like a country, they will exhaust all other means of compromise until forceful action is taken.
If a conservative doesn't like a country, they will lie to there own countrymen create a reason to bomb the sh!t out of that country, leave it and ruins and want to leave as soon as the realized they made a huge mistake.

If a conservative is down and out, they will join a militia with 8 other people and start planning out how they are going to kill people in the police force.

If a liberal is a believer, they go to church.
If a conservative is a believer, they want church at everyone's school, in everyone's home, in everyone's bedroom.

This is fun, how else can try get under each others skin?

i really don't get the point of these kinds of threads. there are already a number of people on this board that i won't ride with because of their beliefs. i'd rather not know (don't ask, don't tell).

 

Merely speaks more to the libs you associate with is all.

I like guns,meat, always work to better myself, have always paid for my own health care and coverage, have no use for organized religion - but to each his own, just keep it to yourself.

Talk shows are for those who can't think for themselves.

When a conservative is in power, he will shut out any and all who have differing views.

When a conservative has lost that power due to his own ineptness, he refuses to participate and will do anything to assure the failure of the country rather than deal the success of a lib.

 

Why take internet message boards so seriously? This is all about having fun. I like asian fury's reply. He (she? - I don't know) obviously had fun creating his reply. And I almost agree with a couple of his test statements! :clap:

Remember, this is all about having fun. Everyone, please don't take this thread personally or take it too seriously. Also remember that the beauty of this country is that we can have contradicting opinions with our government - conservative or liberal. That we can have differences of opinion is what makes our country so great. Both parties are needed to keep eachother in check.

 

Curious, why would you not ride with someone because of their beliefs? I have no problem riding with a liberal atheist. My convictions I hold to be truth. Others do not. So what?
