hey guys hardly ever post on here, but was riding Aliso Canyon the other day and was just finishing Cholla and noticed a No Night Riding sign on that little ranger board thing on the right as you start riding the fireroad back towards Top of the World, just was wondering if anyone else has seen these. Oh and BTW Aliso Canyon got tore up from the rains, there are ruts everywhere!

2nd the ruts. None too serious, but lots of small ones everywhere. And Mathis is looking more and more like Rock-It, as more of the underlying rocks get exposed. I was also surprised at how damp it still is as of today, including a few legit mud puddles.

isnt the majority of the soil in this are clay? that would explain why it's still a little tacky...this is great for the trail and the vegetation

Head's Up on the sign posting, grasshoppers

they are posting them so there will no no outcry from the MTB community when they start ticketing. According Ed, he has issued 2 tickets so far in the last month... and they are serious about it.

    You've been warned!

just came back from a ride there...love riding around 2pm there's hardly traffic...ran into maybe 6 or so riders. Went on a different route today, down the fireroad to coyote trail, up mathis, TOTW, back down to lynx...the soil is perfect right now

One of the reason for no riding at night is the park closes at sundown. Just got done with a ride and I think the trails are nice and sticky.
