Very true. But I still thinks the Ducks could rebuild. As for Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf, who cares. They are both very good players. Temu is more than likely finished unless he wants to rack up more points. He he an amazing player.

I haven't seen a hockey game with the exception of the olympics because I cancelled cable over a year ago so I have no clue as to what's going on in hockey. If the Ducks aren't in it I would like the cup to go to Canada.

Oh, I bet Detroit wasn't laughing when they were swept by the Ducks. Who cares what name a team has. The players had heart.

The "underdogs" won all 4 games....

    Ottowa 5......... Pittsburgh 4
    Philadelphia 2... New Jersey 1
    Colorado 2....... San Jose 1

    Detroit 2.... Phoenix 3
Most people believe Detroit is the favorite

Please don't tell me San Jose is going to lose another first round series? #-o:lol:

An inch! Wow, that close to being up 1-0, now the Kings are down 1 game to none. Still, good game considering they were out shot 44 to 27. GO KINGS!

    Other scores:

    HABS 3, CAPS 2
    BOS 1, BUF 2

Was it that far? Unbelievable! What a save. Man, so close to a goal. C'mon Kings!

I know it's a LONG way away but for the record, I'm rooting for a Kings-Pens final. :bang:

Oh, and go Ducks! When do they play again?

I think it was less too...by the time Luongo got to it the puck was most the way over the line.

Ya, I meant another inch and would've been a goal. Most of the puck looked like it was across. Great overhead shot BTW. Glad they won tonight.

Dino, the green guys are comedy. I have no idea how the guys keep their composer while in the box. Drum, thanks for posting that great pic. How abouth that Kings victory last night? Also, how about the Caps coming back from a 3 or 4 goal deficit? Gotta love playoff hockey!

Nice win Kings! They are gettin' after it!

It's after the fact but I was wondering what y'all think about D.Sedin's disallowed goal last night. Was it a goal?

It was really a close call but I think the refs got it right.

    1. It was very close... I think the refs got it right!
My Kings fan opinion was that he extended his leg... Made an ever so slight kicking/twisting motion (i.e. 2mm) when his skate made contact with the puck

    2. If I were on the NHL Rules Committee...
I would disallow any goal that is directed in by a skate- problem solved!

    3. I know Vancouver's gonna start putting pucks in the net (too many scorers on that team)

    4. The Kings had better not rely on power play goals to win... Cuz they won't!!!

    5. The Intensity of last nights game (on and off the ice) was off the charts!!! :bang:

Totally agree. & that latent tribal warfare means even less when the teams are comprised of players from everywhere but the teams city.

Although, when I lived in Colorado in the mid-90's, it was hard not to be a fan of the Avalanche. That was one hell of a team. & I'd just moved from Wisconsin, where Packer fanaticism is a downright mental virus and totally turned many off to team sports entirely. But that mid-late 90's Avs... man that was one fine lineup. Stupid salary cap...

Awesome game. I didn't think they'd stack two skilled defensemen like Doughty and JMFJ as pair but that seems to be really working. I would like to see Justin Williams play but right now the chemistry with the fwd lines is good so run with it.

As far as the skate goal. I think that could have gone either way.

Hey I'll take the powerplay goals. If they can have a good forcheck and lots of pressure with guys driving to the net. And the Canucks need to take penalties you need to make them pay for that.

1990's Avs. Yeah, I farking used hate that team b/c they wiped the floor with the Kings all the time. Borque, Kamensky, Deadmarsh, Lemieux, Sakic and Roy (doing his stay puff marshall mellow man impersonation with all that extra padding). I do like Sakic though. Ever since he was Nordique.

Buddy scored tickets for tomorrow night. Can't wait.
