I'll be at the ride too.

I meant let's meet at the ride and then at some point in the future we can ride again together to explore some trails you might not know in and around RSM area.

    Cheers!

    I just scheduled this on geoladders for those of you who post there....posted the first route;
    http://www.geoladders.com/show_route.php?from_top=1&route_id=12

Whether we do that exact route or not.......who cares....as long as we have fun!:)

btw.......anyone from the Seal Beach surrounding area (Los Al, HB..) that wants to carpool, let me know. I can fit one more bike on my roof rack as long as it is NOT a thru axle....sorry Gonz, Guero :(

    PM me if interested

Yup, Jordan and I just did the route. There will be a little climbing, no more than those on The Fully Loop and nothing like Beek's or the Santiago Oaks ride. It is about 17 miles or so. The creeks are full of water so bring extra shoes/socks or sandals for after the ride. Lots of sandy sections along the way. The trail through Waterworks and the jungle section are in good condition.

This is going to be fun for those who has never ridden it and fun for those who have. Bring a snack for along the way as we will regroup as needed so we leave no one behind. Please be there on time so we can ride on time and be back to eat or BBQ for those who wish to stay in park. See you all tomorrow.

Check the post for the route description

I'm probably going, but I'm going to need to bring my own car so I can leave early.

    RSVP'd Maybe:
3fbc [08-24-2007 05:41 PM] - I have another ride to do and I'm bummed about that after seeing 39 people RSVP'ng for this ride! I might stop by for a 2nd round and/or BBQ.

Should've seen the ride up to Beek's, 50+ on that one!

Just got home from the store. Lots of beverages on ice now. I'll stop by the store again in the morning to pick up more bags of ice, maybe more bevs. Looks like we're ready to roll. See everyone in the morning

Is the post-ride BBQ still on?

I'm bringing a small portable propane BBQ just in case.

I think some will BBQ and some will go out around the area to eat and some will just ride and leave because of some other commitments. I'll Probably BBQ.

Well, it does say "When: Sept 25, meet @ 8am, Ride @ 8:30" in the ride description... I'm assuming that was an original typo?

Have no fear, I will be hosting a Tijeras Creek ride on Tuesday (to be posted)...
