Hey guys, I am new to the board here but not to forums, I run one of my own not related to Mountain Biking. I am looking around this place looks great. It has been years since I have been out on a bike, I am looking for a new bike I hope sooner then later, and then back out on the trail I go. I am right near the Fullerton Loop, I can enter the trail from the Laguna Lake area.
I am on craigslist right now looking for a good entry level full suspended bike but will go for a hard tail if I find a good deal. I am looking forward to getting back out on the trails I will be check out the forum, any info on a good entry level bike would be great. I am looking for a $250 to $300 range, I know that makes it hard but that is my budget.

Welcome. For something in that price range I would stay with a hardtail. Great to have you on board. Happy Easter.

Ya I figured that would be better, I have seen some good hardtails in that price range for sure. I know that Specialized would be a good way to go. I have also seen some good GT's. What are your thought on Haro and DiamondBack, or even Ironhorse.

I hope it will be soon I recently got back in the gym and did a spin class, one class is all it took I was on CL that night looking for a new ride, thanks for the welcome guys.

Specialized isnt the greatest value for the money imo. Giant and trek are usually more bang for the buck. If you really want bang for the buck look into airborne or motobecane
