There were some rumors about a V8, or an 8-inch version of the V10, I think this is it. the first picture mentions Miami Bryce, and I don't see him racing around on a new VP-Free.

Is it me... Or does the bottom bracket height of the "new bike" look lower than the current model? Note: Current (V-10) BB Height is 14.8"

Ten seconds on the current V-10... I knew it was not for me!
If the new bike has specs closer to a SOCOM.... :-k

if I ever got one of those, I'd repaint it with Super 8 badging :bang:

looks cool though. a SC DH bike that doesn't have more sag than the travel on my trail bike...

Sa-weeet. My V10 is definitely overkill for Fontana and for my ability.

The vpp linkage looks janky and the bb is too high for a bike of this kind.

Geo looks to be pretty spot on as its intended to be a park bike/fr/mini dh rig that can be pedaled if needed.

    This bike is lame.

Here is what I would have built.

    • 65 HA (with 8" fork)
    • 73 SA
    • 14.3" BB Height
    • 1.5" head tube
    • Straight seat tube
    • 83mm BB
    • 150mm rear end
    • Dual ring compatible

Basically a dual ring WC race bike that can pedaled on fireroads to the top of the hill.
