Hi all my name is mitch and i just joined str. This thread encouraged me to post. I'm from long island new york and staying in altadena. I'm used to small hills and pedaling the whole ride, this grueling up then coasting down style took a little getting used to. I've been riding mtb almost a year but i used to ride dirt bikes and quads in pennsylvania for years. I was going to quit riding after my first few rides here, lol, i did the trail from cobb estate to mount lowe then down chaney, and the next weekend i did la tuna canyon then down the single track, to much climbing to be enjoyable. But after i've built up some endurance and rode turnbull yesterday i'm having fun. I'll try to make the fully loop next weekend. Thanks for a great site. Mitch
