NEW RIDE FORMAT! The Path Sunday rides

I rode here this morning and the trails are in awesome conditions. I've only ridden here a couple of times, so I don't know any of the trail names. I started off in the dirt lot right off 215 and central. Climbed a little and found a single track on the right that brought me way down into the canyon. When I got to the bottom, I thought I would have to turn back because of the fast flowing stream, but I found a way around it without getting wet. On the other side of this single track was several wooden bridges. This single track brought me to a road that had telephone poles all the way up it. When I got to the top I hung a left on another single track and that brought me to another fast flowing stream that I was able to get around. By tomorrow the streams should even be easier to get around. Absolutely incredible traction with very little mud. That place just soaks the water in.

Reed, it'd be cool if you could meet us there, as it'a always nice to have a local to show us around!

I came from the shop a little while ago, and the rides still on.

We'll meet at The Path, and head out from there. Anyone that's planing on meeting us there, just look for my white Ford Escape, with the bikes on the back.

 

Maxwell if you concerned about the conditions shoot chewy a message I think he rode there today.

 

Can anyone give me and a one or two other guys a ride from the shop? Its a pretty long drive from here :/

 

I'll have my truck with a shuttle pad. I can take 2 riders and bikes.

 

We'll have to see tomorrow morning who all shows up, but we generally have enough cars.

dang....a solid 68 mile drive from downey to sycamore in riverside!!!!

i might head out there with my SS.....what exact trailhead do you guys meet at???

and....are there any locals that are going to be out there early??? i am a early bird....i can ride a little and then meet up with the path guys for some "extra credit".

 

Anyone know how long the ride would be and how technical it is? My friend is just learning clipless and he wants to go, but he doesnt want to do anything too hard. Thanks.

 

He should be fine. All of the techy stuff we hit has go arounds, and he can walk what he doesn't care to ride.

Hey guys, this Sunday's Path Ride is going to be;

Santiago Truck Trail, to Old Camp, and back down The Luge.

Rabi, and Tony G. will be leading and sweeping.

Meet at The Path at 8am, and rolling out by 8:15-8:30.
If you want to meet us at Cook's Corner, we should be there by 9am.
