    Yeah it is! #-o

After my ride this morning, I was ready to cancel this one. 8-[

It's still on though. PLEASE come prepaired, with enough water, bring MORE than you think you'll need. Also, hydrate tonight.
I lost roughly 6 pounds of water on this mornings ride, and it was short!

See you guys in the morning......

For years I have been freezing dixie cups of water and stuffing as many as I can into my Camelback bladder. I can be out there for about 4 hours and still have cold water. I like to hold the cold water in my month before drinking it to let my brain cool down. Wonder if anyone makes an insulated pouch for my Camelback bladder? I may have to have my seamstress (Scott) sew me up one.

I'm closer to the trail than The Path. Would you consider these instructions from moutainbikebill's website idiot proof?

Directions: From I-5 take Lake Forest Exit East for 4.5 miles. Take a right on Portola. Then Take a left on Glen Ranch At the T-intersection, Make a left on El Toro Road. About a mile down the road El Toro turns into Santiago Canyon Road. Take Santiago Canyon Road about 5 miles north. Turn right on Silverado Canyon Road. Take the first left which is Black Star Canyon Road. Drive about one mile to the gate and park.

Your directions look good. Bill is great about that sort of thing.

Dean, I always fill the bladder 3/4 full of ice cubes, then top it off with water. It works decent.

I never saw this and showed up anyway. First time back on the bike in quote a while and I had no business being out there but thanks for at least getting me to the trails! I'm an IE guy and have never been there before. Didn't last long with the group and I hope you guys didn't wait. In any case I still had a great ride albeit very short. Can't wait to get back out.
