    Hello,
I am a new member as of 2 minutes ago. I have been riding for a few years and was told about your webb site recently.
I usually ride the trails above Claremont 2 to 3 times a week and consider myself to be an average rider with desires to increase my skill level and riding experiences.
I was up on the trail todays and came across several deer which I watched for awhile. I also froze on my desent!
Well, thanks again for this site. It will be interesting and lots of fun getting to know you and discuss with you the joys of biking.

    Take care all!

    Welcome

 Hey WELCOME Mike!! I rode Claremont Wilderness Park then through Marshall Cyn. today myself...almost literally ran into 2 deer taking that singletrack from Burbank into Marshall. (ST before you reach the gate) Was sometime after 2 pm. See ya on the trails...I ride there often. Look for a dark Blur Lt. (miata w/ shark teeth)
(The resident CWP deer ...was a third when I took this last month)

    Hello,
You are the person who introduced me to this site. I was talking with you in the parking lot about two weeks ago and you gave me the web address. Thanks!

I usually drive my white S-10 when I go riding so look for it and maybe we can share a trail ride!
Take care and thanks for the nice welcome!

    Hey Mike,

I'm also one of the locals (No Jose I didn't say "Locos"). We ride as a group over in Claremont and Marshall somewhat and we also get together for some of the other rides posted here through out this area and beyond. I used to ride CWP 3 times a week when I worked over there. Hope to meet up with you for some rides.

    Welcome Mike D.!

I'm also a new boot around here, and the company has been good.

By the way, do you also use the name Mike D. on other message boards? I remember riding with a bunch of shuttlers and a Mike D. a few years ago on the Anderson Truck Trail and World Cup down south. Could that have been you? I think it was on ridemonkey, but I completely forgot about that site until I was trying to remember where I remembered that name.

Welcome. Not a regular poster, but am a regular at the CHWP (and Marshall Canyon) since it is just up the street. Don't know how many times I have seen those two deer, and there used to be a third.
