Dirt Jumps New local spot? Not for long

On Saturday the Mrs and I were on our local loop when we come across some jumps that were freshly built. Talked with the local kids and they said the jumps went up about a week ago and they, as well as I, were surprised the area was not plowed yet, so I had to get out there before the tractors came in.

So WGB showed up and we headed over for his first ever "jump session" and my "got to get over the fear of gaps" attitude. WGB has the willingness and not so much skill, I have the skill but in my old age and the two years I took off I have lost a bit of confidence and my local spot I was practicing on is now flatrotest:. By the time we left he had some skill and I felt better about the gaps.
Funny thing, as we were riding out the tractors were coming in. I am hoping they left the jumps but ...:-k

Forgot to mention, I really did not hear it when we were there but when listing to the vid without the music you can here that you were riding the brakes going into the step up.

 

dang..I thought I stopped myself..next time..

I tell you what, after hitting that double, I feel 1000% more confident in my riding now...

I want to go back, if the jumps are still there, later this week or next..

I am going to pedal on over tomorrow morning, maybe tonight as well depending on when Hel gets home, I'll let ya know if they are still there.
