    iOS4 has been working great on my 3GS...except for the darn Gmail sync issues, but that's starting to get better. Calendar is back and email is syncing, but slow.

    by pressing 'home + power' buttons?
    have done that each and every time it's crashed...

    it has now crashed 3 more times...
    and the phone is running really warm/hot!
    wonder if it's 1 of the apps that I have???

    can't restore til i get back home, so it looks like i'm SOL til then.

    Power it off completely. Wait a 10-15 seconds or so and fire it up.

    If it's running hotter than usual, something isn't right.

    My 3G is never warm and I have a thick rubber jacket on it as well.

    when I've had that problem with other phones I've had, I had to take the battery out for a min. then put it back in and then it was OK. But I've never owend an iphone.

    I updated my 3GS last night to 4.0. Everything seems to be working good. I did reboot once because a couple apps were not working right. But all is good now.

    I also tried updated my wifes 3G. But got several network error messages so I gave up.

    I got the notification from UPS with a tracking number, but it doesn't give an arrival date yet. Says it's going overnight, so I'm guessing I'll get it Thursday. I still have the original Edge phone, so I'm ready for an upgrade.

    update mine at 4am today. had major gmail calendar issues and was freaking out. seems to be working now fine. so glad not only my issue.

    put most of my apps in folders and now much more room for mo' apps!!!!

    unrelated it took my IT group 2 whole days to scrub and re-image my computer at work after that gnar virus from str. afraid to check str from work computer and wait until safe haven of mac at home
