I added a ti spring for the RC4 and a set of Industry Nine Enduro wheels. The weight is down to about 37lbs.
dude all your bikes are freaking sweet :bang: ............. let me have one! ...........wait wait how selfish of me ..... there are kids in mammoth with no bikes to ride .............. oh will somebody please think about the children awesome delirium!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't want to repeat what everyone else has said but that is one sweet build. You can tell a lot of thought went into it as well as a true love for the sport. Nice job indeed. What kind of trails are you taking this thing out on? AM stuff or mostly shuttle? From your posts it sounds like you've pointed it uphill. Thanks and congrats, mott
I have a solution for the squeaking pedals...Mobil 1 grease!!!!! I have the same pedals and had the same problem...I finally greased the pedals and squeaking was resolved. Nice build on the bike...I'm researching to build a similar bike...may end up copying your build!
Congrats. It's a beautiful bike. I love my 09 DT. In a couple years, I might upgrade to the newest incarnation of the Delirium. I pedal mine all over, have taken it to resorts and just enjoy riding it. Great do it all bike, if you don't mind the weight. I am curious how the newer frames compare to mine with less weight and slightly different angles... I think the only thing I might change on mine is a quick adjust seat post to make it a bit more trail bike-ish.
I saw a guy riding a brand new Delirium with the Fox 180 Talas yesterday at Aliso. Super sick bike but I can say that I wouldn't want to be pedaling that thing around. It is just about the perfect free rider! Post some pics of that bike all dirty!!
Holy bling BUILD!!!!! That thinng is sick. You picked my fave color scheme too! 37lbs is pretty good with a coil shock and a 66. I see you are a orthorpedic surgeon what hospital do you work for? if you dont mind me asking. Just had my shoulder re constructed.
If anyone wants to demo a Delirium let me know, I have a garage full of them. I have a large Chilcotin too.
I've ridden the Delirium mostly for trail rides. It's only been shuttled a couple of times when I took it to Bootleg Canyon. But, I've been doing more road riding lately. I think it's time to get the Delirium out of the garage
