Well that goes without saying, of course the reflectors have got to go. The reflectors came stock with the bike. I took the pictures about 5 minutes after I got it home.
Congrats on the new rig. When I road with jeffj he let me toss his Reign around a couple of rough switchbacks and the thing felt great. Super light and the wheels were glued to the ground.
update Just got the bike back from The Path today. It seems as though every time I walk in there, I walk out with a lighter wallet and a bigger smile. Added the following upgrades: Rock Shox Pike 454 Air U-turn Thompson X4 70mm stem. Wellgo MG-1 pedals The Pike really puts this bike together. Sure, it adds about a 1lb but the feel of the 20mm thru-axle just makes it feel like such a solid bike. I was tempted to go with the Fox 36 Talas but now I'm glad I went with the pike. After just pedaling it around in the parking lot, I'm now completely infatuated with this bike. The sizing feels perfect. The geometry feels perfect. The suspension feels perfect. I can't wait to get it on the dirt. Many thanks to the guys at The Path for hooking me up. All I need now is a chain stay protector and I'm good to go (which I forgot to buy). I'm thinking about posting an inaugural Turnbull ride for this Saturday but I'm not sure if I need to go into the office this weekend. Turnbull seems like the ideal playground to test this thing out.
Ain't nothin' better than a new infatuation! Especially when it's mutual. (your bike told me it feels the same way about you...)
 I think Dino can back me up on this one. This bike is FAR from an Enduro. The suspension linkage and geo is completely different.
Nice upgrades, makes me want to buy a new new bike. And I'll keep an eye out for a Turnbull ride to see that beast in action. Yes but it won't help.
While I must admit the Enduro's are pretty darn good bikes, the *'08* Reign's are superior in many ways! The top two on my list: *The linkage is more efficient * Due to its MUCH LOWER center of gravity, the REIGN rails corners like no other! It actually takes a bit of time to get used to (i.e. trust). I don't want jack Stinky's thread... What I will say is: 4 buddies this year ended their bike search shortly after I uttered the words "..let's try one more bike (the Reign). No thinking.. no waiting... all 4 bought the REIGN on the spot! Enough about the Giant and Specialized, let's talk about IRON HORSE! :bang: P.S.- Specialized Demo This Thursday At The Fullerton Loop!
I loved the Pike on my Reign. I just love the 36 a bit more because of its plushness. The Pike was plush, but the 36 is enough to make it worthwhile. However, I miss the Maxle. I hate the pinch bolts on the 07 36 I have. I am so paranoid about breaking the lowers.
