The Roubaix is a badass bike. Unless you're planning on racing crits every weekend, it will be fine.

    Riiiiight. ;)

It starts with the skinny tires. Then you are going to get a helmet without a visor. Then you are going to start worrying about color coordination. Before long you will be sipping espresso in your lycra bib shorts, wearing jerseys that are a size too small with sponsors plastered all over them. Then you will become obsessed with watts, drafting, the peloton and interval training. Then it is the skin tight white unitard because you think it makes you look fast, and psycology is important when you are a roadie.

Meanwhile your trusty MTB will be left abandoned like a sailor's girlfriend: Alone, forgotten, gathering dust and yearning for a hard, dirty ride. You come home one evening, you hear the sound or suspension oil moving in a shock and the squeek of disk brakes. You burst in to find your best friend just got done riding your mountain bike. You rage out at them both but you know it is your own fault for abandoning your solid ride for something sexy and italian.

Turn back, Matt before it is too late! You will only get hurt, and hurt the bikes around you.

Anyone sell Look up there. This is a great deal.

    All carbon, and stiff.

    I like the Roubaix though.

It seems as if the worlds fastest mountain bikers have found some things in common with the roadies...
