    strike prior, monitor future it prob doesn't matter. beds are made time to sleep in the sh!t that was created.

    This was nothing short of a highly malicious (and perhaps criminal) attack on George, STR as a whole and specific members.

    The threatening actions were clearly grounded in lies and again possibly crossing legal lines that could have resulted in detriment to ones livelihood (job, providing for family, etc.) and/or injury and should be brought to the proper authorities. furthermore they appeared quite random making it quite more scary to anyone who participates on this board imo

    Irrespective of whatever resolution is; I imagine actions may not be forgotten (or forgiven) for some time if ever by the entire local mtn bike community even beyond STR

    very sad

    Reporting things to the FBI, suspecting people of plotting one's demise...to me, these are all symptoms of mental illness. I don't know whether it applies to this particular situation but it might.

    In my experience mountain bikers are compassionate people who would help out anyone who might be hurt on the trail. Mental illness is just another form of injury.

    I don't think that signing a petition will get such a person to stop such behavior. Maybe it will, but maybe it will just confirm the paranoia.

    I do think that some paranoid persons can be dangerous. If someone has been threatened with harm in most cases, he or she can obtain a restraining order that includes orders to stay away from homes, cars, and work places of the protected person as well as banning contact via telephone etc. The California Superior Court has a website where they will walk you through the process and help you obtain a TRO for free.     His fire can only be fueled so much. I deal with people like him all the time. It doesn't take much. That site isn't going to fuel him anyore than he already is, IMHO.:)
