    Hi all

    I'm Gary.

    This is my first post on your forum and I am looking forward to making new friends here.

    I just bought my first real mountain bike a few weeks ago and my good friend from work ( Banshee350 ) was a great tour guide for me today at Fullerton Loop.

    OMG that was the hardest workout ever and I had to walk MANY of the hills. It was extremely complicated to navigate through that course but Mike ( Banshee350 ) knew the course like the back of his hand. Not sure if I could ever memorize it but I will just have to tag along with you guys also.

    I have an 11 year old son whom I am looking forward to taking on rides. Hopefully he will be able to hang in there at a slow pace.

    Well, I just wanted to introduce myself and am looking forward to learning alot on this forum.

    Welcome gary. Being somewhat new myself I can still remember the difficulty of the first offroad ride. Someone on this forum gave me some info once that is to true. The climbing doesn't get easier you just get faster. So work hard on the climbs and enjoy the downhill.
    If you ever find your way out by idyllwild give me a pm and me and my 2 boys can show you around.

    welcome Gary I felt the same way when I started riding the loop. Before long you'll be looking for some extra credit and riding the loop sub hour times have fun.
