Hey guys... This is Sherri and this is my first post. Unfortunately, it's here and not just a hello. Haha! So, I was at the womens clinic on Sat. an went over the handlebars goin down one of the hills :( I got up and with the help of Tim, I made it back to the parking lot with my bike, even riding part of the way. Turns out I have a radial head fracture on the left elbow, some gnarly bruises on my right leg, and both knees are bruised and pretty scraped up...

So yeah, it sucks! My left arm is in a temporary cast for now and it's a big pain in the ass tryin to learn how to do things with one hand. Fortunately, I have Mando's help. :) He's been a huge help.

I want to say thanks to everybody that was in my group for all the help, care, and concern they all showed. The ER doc said I'd be out for like 6-8 weeks... but we'll see... I think I beg to differ. Haha. I'm calling first thing tomorrow morn for an appointment with an Ortho doc. I'll post an update after that. Thanks again for the help ladies and guys!

    "Flight" is an UNDERSTATEMENT!

Aww man Sherri!!!! That sucks but with your "huevos" (LOL) I know you'll be back out there in no time. I still can't believe you went for that part of Chutes (not just "one of the hills", the most technical part of Chutes near the top!!!), that was AWESOME (except the fracture)! Which hand/arm is it? Left, if I remember right? Hope you are right handed... Anyway, heres healing vibes to you so you can start riding again ASAP! Or... learn how to ride one-handed??? LOL jk Hope you feel better soon!

Tim was worried that it was more then a bang....apparently a bang, crack and a break!:-s So sorry to hear that but don't get discouraged...everyone in your group said you were great and especially since you have just started riding a few months ago...to hear that you even attempted Chutes deserves a big applause!

Heal up and get back out there and we will see you at the next clinic after the hot summer months are over!

Hi Sherri - Bummer about your crash! Armando has been raving about how much you've improved over the past month and a half! Dang, we never even had the chance to all ride together! Get well soon! I e-mailed Armando a couple of referrals for elbow specialists. If you need anything, let me know.

BTW......that section you crashed on scared the $#it out of me the first time I looked down it.

Oh man that sucks. I was at the top when you took off and I didn't see the fall but I heard all the reactions....everyone was cheering you on, then all of a sudden it got quiet and there was an "oh sh*t", I knew it couldn't be good. But you took it like a trooper.

    Healing vibes your way~~~~~
