FYI, please avoid any references to Mr. Roboto in public. It should be treated as other vices, behind locked (and preferably soundproofed) doors. Thank you for your cooperation.
Back in the day saw AC/DC (w/ scott) open for Nugent in Seattle. hella good show. They weren't as popular back then as now (obviously). Angus got on a security guards shoulders and went through the floor doing a massive solo and people were basically standing there with their hands in there pockets looking like 'who is this freak?' Good times!

That sounds like a great show! My sister's ex-boyfriend is the singer for New Fidelity btw, haha. They are good! Maybe Jason and I will take the scooter there. Are you going Rolo?
Just a heads up to NIN fans you can download the new album for free and completely legally direct from there own site. http://theslip.nin.com/
Come on guy...as long as your going that route, pull in the ultimate collective band of all time , Damn Yankees. I say any band with Tommy Shaw in it has my vote as best of all time. Now onto a more serious side:So far Jason's list is just about everything I have in vinyl and or trying to obtain. My list of major influences are any and all english punk spike head/political crass types. London Calling changed my life when it came out and I lost my head the first time I heard GBH at a friends house in 1982. I can't say I feel the same about any of the new pop-punk babies these days. The only new stuff that is worth a crap, usually has a member of Operation Ivy/Rancid in it.
Jason, Well put, Generation X and The Clash = HELL YES; Billy Idol and B.A.D. = not so much. Lost Cause….really? I had friends in the band and use to go to most of their shows, but I thought they where just a foggy memory in my record collection. Mr.hobbs has finished burning his vinyl to disk and taken on the task of burning mine and just found my Lost Cause 7” and 12” singles. PS. Small world……Use to own scooters also, a Vespa and Lambretta LD150 Cheers, Smitty:beer:
Guns n' Roses are classic rock? OMFG, I am OLD! I like all music except for polkas. Other than that, it's all good. Just depends on my mood. I can listen to some hard core punk, and then listen to some old school country. HEY! That's one of the reasons that The Supersuckers are my favorite band of all time! Do yourself a favor and go buy this CD! Click here, if you dare! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gblGY2AgV0
I have been working with some old friends to plan the show. Most of the bands are old friends, so I will be there with a bunch of other former OC mods and punks... Re: jason I too collected and raced lambrettas until 87 when I sold my scoots to get a team stumpjumper. Been on a mtb every since. 20 years later, I just picked up a super clean GP 200 in February, I doubt I am scooting to the gig....3$ pints are gonna make it hard to scoot home
