So, It's time to renew my sponsorships for this year. I am currently running e*thirteen but I am thinking about switching to MRP since their product offerings are much better than 5 years ago.

Let's hear what you have to say, give me your pros and cons please. ;)

I do like my MRP on the glory frame, i have e13 on the parker.. the e13 seems a little off, and does make little noises that I can feel. with my MRP, i feel NOTHING and is super smooth. Really easy to maintenance.

I've had both the MRP G2 and the new e.Thirteen LG1+ on the M6. I prefer the e.Thirteen.

when it comes to chainguides, the best one is the one you don't even need to worry about.

that said, I've had no problems with either of my E.13 guides, and no problems with the MRP G2 on my dad's M6. put them on, set them up, and go.

I will say that e.13 has very good customer service. I called them up about an idler problem on my SRS, and they had a new, revised idler sent to me that day, with a boatload of stickers and other cool stuff.

not sure if this helps you out or not but:

i run e-13 bashguard and drs chain guide. i have two chainrings and bashguard. it works totally fine for me except for that whenever i drop to granny gear, the chain guide makes a bunch of noise. theres a 'roller' type thing for the chain and it doesn't quite go to the right roller for granny gear, so it gets noisy when on a steep climb. not sure if it matters if your running 1x9 or single chainring. just my 2 cents

The setup on the E13 products is a bit easier, but the MRP stuff is WAY more durable. I've had my LRP for SEVERAL years, and it's still just as good as the day I bought it; and we both ride the same rocky stuff! As with the single ring stuff, I only dropped a chain once with my MRP stuff, and that was because of a funny bottom bracket.

Seems like MRP tends to copy e13, but I haven't had problems with either one for the last 2 years. Both offer solid products. One thing that e13 does is better support. I see Dave Weagle and Phil from e13 post everywhere, especially MTBR and Ridemonkey, and whenever I talked to Phil about problems, he was helpful.

I have used both but much prefer the e13. Why? Because the MRP G2 did not come in white when I bought mine. ;)

i only have experience with blackspire and mrp. my current mrp G2 is awesome no problems at all. i went with it mainly because if you look the idler wheel is directly mounted to the taco and has a clean flowing profile so to me it seemed less vulnerable to getting hung up on rocks

I found the e.Thirteen guide to be quieter and easier to set up. I also like the design better, the captured bolts make installation a snap.
