Yeah man, I posted a thread about mine here in the workshop forum I'm a big dude and this thing took a beating and never cracked or anything. Mine was a little too small for me, I'm the same height and inseam. I got the 14 so my GF could ride it too and just swapped out the seatpost for a non layback one. It even performed really well on a BMX track too, you can slam the seat way down and lock out the front work and it worked great. http://www.socaltrailriders.org/forum/workshop/9948-marin-b17-build.html
 that's my daughter's back pack...good eye...when i took that pic i thought to myself some wise guy will make a comment. I wasnt too far off let me know how it goes w/ the install looks pretty simple enough. Jeff: thanks so much for offering up the crank to me. Remember, if Rob cant take ya to the swap meet, I'll chauffeur ya :bang:
Ok here's an update. Got some donated parts from my coworker today. He upgraded some parts off his enduro so they were laying around not getting any use so he gave them to me. Seatpost, saddle, stem, and handlebar. The stem is 100mm so i'm not sure how that's going to be for me but we'll see when i get it built. Through the kind donation of Jeff (J_Sims) i'll have my cranks this weekend as well!
