Great ride today, it was cool meeting the guys whom weren't there last week. Thanks for waiting for us at the beginning of the Motorway, we (George, Nate and I) never would have know where it started.

It was a great ride today with everyone.

Also I found out some positive news when I got back to the parking lot. The Forest Rangers were taking the "Closed from April 1 through September 30" sign down off the gate. They informed me that because if the heavy rain, the springs are running too high and too fast for the little toadies to court each other and make out; so for the time being, Maple Springs will remain open.

I asked them if it would be open for the season, but they indicated that they would be keeping a check on the water levels, and if they came back down to the normal flow, they would then put the signs up.

Bottom line they said was that if you come to the parking lot, and the closure sign is not on the gate, the trail is open for riding. Once you see the sign go up, the trail will be closed for the norman duration.

Basically........Maple Springs is still open until further notice.

    Good News Indeed
