Nice video displaying the terrain and giving a good feel of Velocity... but where's Nancy and Andy?? Damn they were flying!
i believe that trail is richochet, the right side fork at the junction of brake through & 7 bridges...? i think... the richochet part i'm sure about though!
Sorry, I didn't meet y'all for 3 days Sorry, I was there for the last 3 days and didn't get to say, "HI!" Darn... Here is one of my San Diego friends that did the Shotgun Wall. I was with about 20 friends, some were from North Ranch Mt Bike Club. We had a great time. More OTB, Slips and Falls than any other time up. I guess we were going for it more this time. Nothing serious, except the fun.
What kind of camera did you use? The burst on my G9 is way too slow to catch action like that. <---Jealous
I like the start for the velocity video.I beleive the harmonica is from once upon a time in the west .........So sweet!
This weekend in Mammoth was truly great. Had a great time seeing Dean, Lynn, and riding with a lot of great riders-Jeff, Scott, Chris, Andy, Ann, Winston. I got worked several times-but overall had a blast! Here are some photos A sequence of Jeff on the Flow drop A sequence of Andy on the Flow Drop Jeff hitting another drop I had a lot of fun and can't wait to check-off a lot more next year. Sorry about the huge photos-forgot to resize 'em...
Great pics Dan Oh! photo. Sorry I missed seeing you guys hitting all the stunts this time but the XC was beautiful.
That was one of the greatest Mammoth trips of all time! (IMHO) Although if those growlers were filled when we got there it could have been a little better. Being out riding both days from 9 to 5 was awesome. Sharing food and spirits with quality Mtn. biking folks was great. I even enjoyed getting heckled while I got some garage time rebuilding my rear hub saturday night. And it sure felt good to finally hit some of the drops that I have been staring at for a few years. And that shotgun wall ride! That was the shiznit! OMG that thing was so freaken fun! I could have ridden that a coupla hundred more times. Anyway thanks for the memories my friends.
Sorry the choice was ride Rock Creek on the way up or get to the Mammoth Brewery before closing...sorry I am a selfish bastard. Forgive me. Always good seeing you Kernville boys. Nice pics Danno! That first one is classic.... Dean
camera I have an Olympus Stylus Tough. It is waterproof and shockproof, perfect for an MTB camera. They were selling them at COSTCO for $150 or so. I have been very pleased so far.
You sir are correct. (Good ear.) A little jfsh action on... Shock Treatment (Please right click and select Save Target As…) Duration = 4:16 File size = 65.2 MB PS - Yes, it's a chest mount.
I agree, one of the best biking weekends I can recall, good people, good times and going big! It is so entertaining watching you all step up and conquer (and sometimes crash, really hard). The weekend was almost a bust for me as I found out on the first run the forks on my VPFree were completely blown out, the bike was trying to kill me. So it was either cry all weekend or rent a bike which turned out to be the best experience. The Cannondale Perv (errrr, I mean Perp) they demo at the mammoth center was just awesome! I could do no wrong on that bike and I'm in now in the market for a Totem fork, those things rock! Thanks Jeff & Dano for the awesome photos, these were better than ever. Northstar is still open for another month, hmmmmmm! -Chris

Like the follow/perspective on the log! Haha, notice the difference in speed after the guy moved aside for Ann.
