Yea thats just after the deep end. Its going to need some work before the season starts. The snow has knocked it around a bit.

    Weee!
Just bought my season pass for $150.

You can get it for $150 if you buy over the phone instead of the interwebs. No MVP ski pass purchase necessary. Dial 1-800-MAMMOTH.

    Can't wait for that pumice.

Uuugh, that would HURT. There's only a few trails up there that would be fun on a hard tail. A 6" all-mtn bike will be able to negotiate 90% of the terrain. A DH/FR bike is ideal though. And if you don't have one you can rent for like $70-$80 per day.

Hopefully that is so they can do some trail work on the closed days. That place was ruined our 2nd trip up there last summer. The first trip was great! I talked long smack about how great the place was and brought a lot of people the next time. Needless to say, it was in shambles. Fun, but nothing compared to the conditions on the first trip.

I've never ridden my bike at Mammoth. I've just heard all the horror stories about the pumice. Besides, I have a lot of family near Lake Tahoe so it just serves me better to kill two birds with one stone.

I'd love to ride Mammoth sometime, it just never seems to happen at the right time for me. Either way, it's all good. Lift assited riding is the best!

Until May 1st. Then it goes up to $180 then up to $300+ once the bike park opens in June.

So there is no catch about the $150? Just if you buy the pass early this is the price. I guess I am asking if there is any kind of pass you already need to hold to purchase the mtb pass for this summer?
    Thanks

I've seen a few hard tails up there. I've seen groms on huffys bombing velocity. The bike park has a little something for everyone. You would be fine on the green/yellow runs and maybe some orange ones. if your hard core and like the abuse you would get mad respect on the reds. :bang:

I recently bought MVP10 season passes for my wife and I for the upcoming snowboard season. I did see the offer for bike park tickets for $150, but didn't think I'd make it up enough times to bike to be worth it. Mammoth's bike park is pretty good. But, it still can't compare to Whistler :)
