Logging ideas? Sorry I wouldn't have room for my chainsaw with all the bike gear in the car.

Sorry, just being a smartass. All kidding aside, I was thinking about staying at some El Cheapo hotel like travel lodge off of Main Street or some place on Old Mammoth Road. If we get enough people committed to go, we could consolidate resources and possibly get a small condo at the Mammoth Mountain Inn.

As for travel/carpooling arrangements, I had planned on carpooling with Happy_Gilmore since we work at the same place.

You might want to look at stay and ride packages, you might be able to stay right there for the same price.

Im down for a later trip.

Went to Mammoth a couple times last year.

I mostly ride the DH trails and some sidetracks into some of the "XC" trails so long as gravity is on my side.

    hmm...:-k

Oh, and the Incycle crew is always fun to ride with - any of them or all of them.

Maybe it's time to clean the cobwebs off the gravity sled. :-k

Last year's closing weekend was a ton of fun!

wrxkid, on the closing weekend last year, I camped the first night. And while driving around some back dirt roads, I found some really cool roads, some of which were strangely steep...before long, I realized that I was driving around on the ski slopes!! #-o

Yeah I was thinking about camping but didn't really feel like doing it alone. I think the fees are like 25 or so. So for double I get a bed. But if you guys do I might too.

If anyone has room for some one to ride up with and share a room I'm in. Can't wait to let the Sunday out to play.
