yeah, if we get a 4th person in there, that's $75 per +/-. sounds fine with me. I'll bring a couple boxes of pasta roni (shells and white cheddar kicks ASS :bang and some tasty tasty root beer :beer:

its 57 degrees there right now, so im imagining it will be around 30 or lower at night when the trip comes around... :-k

This weekend we had highs in the low 60's on the mountain and lows in the 30's for this weekend. Although the wind did make it feel a bit cooler. It was 37 on the top of the mountain on Monday morning.
Assuming the weather stays seasonable, you can expect similar weather, maybe slightly cooler.

 

if on the off chance it snows, what is it like riding in that? I've only ever dealt with dust, sand, and mud. no snow

Pulling a trailer

Hey Ricky -

We were going to do the trailer thing too on the 13 & 14th but once we figured gas and towing time, we started looking into a condo to compare cost.

I found a 3 bedroom 3 bath condo for $315.00 for 2 nights (in the village) divide that by 8 people and 1 Armada we are leaving the camper at home!

Just some info...look at your options..

 

Assuming I go, I'm up for carpooling and sharing a room. I also have a full-sized truck that should get around 19 mpg on the drive up there. I'm in the Buena Park area. Last year, it was in the low 20s during the night. My 20 degree bag with a blanket in the back of the truck was comfy. I really only need a shower (the hose in front of the lift just doesn't do it for me).

Going on a Sunday turnaround for the last day(21). I have to take some friends to the airport on sat. Leaving LA around 2:30am and coming home when we get kicked off the mountain. I might have room in the truck for one more. I'll post a heads up when we get closer to the date.

 

it was awesome last year, no dust or loose dirt to deal with... :bang:

So is anyone staying indoors that has room for one more? Bed or room on the floor for my air bed?
