No one is doing mass planning of lodging, everyone is pretty much on their own. I went back through the thread to find out who was looking to share lodging. Here's what I found. I suggest you guys talk to each other and see who's got what in terms of available lodging and carpooling!!! :)

    Rock Creek friday

For everybody that wanted to shuttle Lower Rock Creek friday...want to plan on meeting for breakfast and then heading out? Maybe meet at Base Camp Cafe at 9 or so, get some breakfast and then roll out about 10 (for anybody that doesn't have breakfast with us)...otherwise we can all meet at the trailhead and ride from there. Depending on the group size and pace maybe we can get in a few shuttle runs too...

Unfortunately Uzziboy and I cannot leave til about 2:30pm on Friday so that leaves us out. Pretty bummed as I've wanted to ride LRC for a really long time now. Next time hopefully.

1.) We all ride at our own pace, and constantly re-group. You will definitely find your place with one of the many groups that will be riding mammoth out of the 30 or so uf us going.

4.) Clothes are iffy, But if i were you, i would definitely bring elbow, and knee pads, as well as gloves and i reccomend a full face helmet.
    Anything else is a plus.

Thanks for the responses... I am riding up and staying with 1080P.

I have armor, just no clothes. I'll pick up some stuff today and bring more than I think I'll need.

Looks like my bike tops out at a 2.35 tire, so I'll bring what I've got.

    See you all this weekend!

Won't be up there it time but plan on riding Rock Creek later in the afternoon on our way up.

Another shuttle option is Mammoth Rock Trail I like that trail and it is closer to town, like in town.

Give me a call on your way up and I'll meet y'all at Rock Creek to ride it again in the afternoon - riding it twice is fine by me...

what about us late comers for rock creek? I'd be down for shuttling friday so I don't have to pay for a half day ticket, but we won't be there until 12-1 or so depending on traffic. What's the plan on that? or are people just hitting the park after noon?

Most likely. I'll ride up to the mountain then spend the rest of the day on the gondy.

Definitely riding Friday - that and Sat. are my days, Sunday's probably out (though if I'm feeling good I could sneak in a couple hours if I tried hard). However, I'm planning on showing around my (non-DH) buddy and his wife Friday morning, so probably not free until 10 or so ...

Definitely happy to have some company the rest of the time - but I know I'm slower than the hard-core DH folks ... :)
