Even though my car would not start this morning, sometimes you get lucky. Like my gear combo will work with out a tensioner. New unramped Salsa ring 34 tooth and a 20 tooth salvaged cog. Test it tommorow at Maple Springs. Hope my luck holds out!

    Re: ahh!

Haha yeah . . . I felt pretty stupid with a flat, a spare tube, tire levers, but no pump! ](*,) I'll make sure to remember it next time.

Luckily we met some guys right after the flat and they had a pump. Kinda interesting how they asked us if we knew about some guys from socaltrailriders that rode Maple during the flood. "yeah, that's my site"

And yes . . . the ride was good times. :bang:

Yeah it's happened to me too... tire patches, tubes, levers....but no pump.

I can't bring one either because it won't attach to my NRS now. Going to fetch a mini pump that I can stick in my pack.

I've tried filling my tire with my mouth... doesn't work
