Oh, no worries Art. I ride many trails outside of Aliso. Remember, we live 4 hours away from there... duh. :?::lol:

Back on topic--I'm NOT a very competent mtn biker, but I think the easy line on RockIt is the rocks. So, I take that ;) Plus, crashing on the "harder" stuff is cooler than crashing on the PLines.

As for trail erosion, I think there is a STRONG need for ALL to stay on the trails.

Meadows is another great example of trails that have been blown out. When I was there a couple weeks ago, I actually scolded a HIKER for cutting across the switchbacks ("bad hiker, bad, stay on the trails"). Personally, my biatchy self thinks that if you don't want to do the switchbacks & turns (on bike or foot), stick to the straight roads!!

Perhaps the parks should invest in larger, more visible signs/info to that affect. There are more and more people enjoying the trails, not just us on this forum.

I'm guilty of HAB up stairsteps for sure (although I go up the middle w/ bike on shoulder... it is called portage in CX), I'd like to try CA but have been unable to find the connection.
Can anyone tell me from the Willow fireroad how to find the C.A. connector?

Use the double track from Willow to T&A (Laguna Ridge) then take pavement to the stop light at Canyon Acres...up you go...have fun. I know one mutant single-speeder than can clean it.

    We could do that

I have a video production class at my school just aching for a project. And/Or I know an NBC producer who's good with a camera and has access to quality editing.
