Don't know where you heard that from but I'm not giving up either!:bang: Haven't seen you on your bike in a while, hope this won't last as long.
i heard about this, but it's supposed to be a bad idea unless you're bleeding to death. :?: it's that minnesota job you took. i've been riding..just south of fullerton all the time.
If your wounds are stinging (because they are exposed), then you may want to try the non-stick bandage products. They come in sealed packs and the bandage is immersed in petrol jelly. First clean the wound. Second cover it with something like neosporen (sp). Third, put non-stick bandage on the wound. 4th, put a 4x4 gauze bandage over that. 5th, wrap with flex wrap. You can leave this on for a couple of days. Take off, clean and repeat if needed. But make sure to cover the wound with a neosporen type ointment before applying the non stick bandage. If you didn't get scraped deeply enough to have pain when exposed then don't bother with the above.
yup. i'm doing all this except not using neosporin. using some silver paste that reduces infection. sure cant' wait for this to heal.
