Jeez That is a major ride. Seriously if I completed that ride I wouldn't need to prove anything anymore. Screw VQ.

I've never commented on one of your ride reports but I have taken note of your serious training and the pics are cool. What time are you shooting for?

I think I can also speak for Steph when I saw we sincerely hope so!

But, we have been (literally, actually) training our butts off, so I hope that it all comes to a nice fruition at the end.

    Remember young grasshopper....

You are doing this for a sense of accomplishment and most of all for fun.... even if it hurts... it hurts good. I probably won't see you guys on the course... I'm sweeping from Blackstart up to the top of Saddleback... picking off stragglers... so I won't get a chance to cheer you guys on. See you at the finish.

Good luck to both of you!

    Sunrise.

We are going to argue about whether or not to go down ITT and back up or down WHT and back up Trabuco. Good times :)

    FUN?! Who'dve thunk that?

That kind of saddens me, OMR! I remember other than Ann and Andy you were basically the first STR member I ever ran into as you cheered us on last year! Will look forward to seeing you and the perfect hair at the finish I suppose :) If you see me before then give me a swift kick in the butt, please!

Sooo... anyone doing this (or similar) instead of the cluster... I mean guided ride? :)

I'll apologize, not trying to be "ungrateful". But, the FS still sucks.

We may change it up to do WHT and back up Trabuco instead of ITT. Depends on how we feel and whether or not we want more mileage and climbing.

Maybe we'll see some of you out there? Not if you are doing the other ride, though... you aren't allowed to enter the open portions of the forest.
