I've had some pretty good times on my Redline. You'll have to do some upgrading in time, but it's a good frame and the components will last the rest of this year for sure.

As for STR peeps getting some BMX results-
I'm not doing too bad with an 18-0 season so far in the 30-34 expert cruiser class. I'm threatening to take the number 1b plate for the NBL west and will be gunning for the Golden State Championship in October.

The transition can be made! Can't wait to hear how you do on a 20" racing, Ricky!

How are the rest of the MTB/BMX folks doing in the BMX racing arena?

I'm sure if several of us raced, we would do decently.
a lot of people tell me I'm fast, but I don't believe them.
Lee is very quick. Ha can give people a run for their money.
Hugh could probably kill if he ever got around to racing instead of taking pictures of himself eating cupcakes
There's a ton more people I'm not mentioning who are also quite fast in their respective categories as well.

Basically, there is a rather large talent pool, if we ever get motivated and actually do anything :) honestly, I just spend my time screwing around during practice. Make people look slow (like fred ), jump over stuff, and pathetically try and manual the doubles (I wanna get that down...)

Whatever. Get something fun and go ride ricky. It's no good to spend too long decision-making when you could be riding

All is good. I'm down for a team. It will give me some purpose to my riding . Something sorely lacking at the moment. I just ride for the sake of riding most of the time. Fun needs to be had...

Shoot, I wouldn't mind that. I'm a bit far and I think I'll be a bit further when I move back home to Monterey in about a month and a half.

No problem. I need to get the FA to the track.
I like the Black Market bikes a lot for DJ or 4X.

I would go with the pk or staats. Ive rode both bikes, the staats is cool but for the money? but who am I, I got a S&M Im in love with, I agree with everyone Start a squirrel class and have some fun. Good luck with that bike choice.
