    with this race it would be 3 weekend's in a row racing. it looks like fun. anyone else going to do it?

    You always get the Bakersfield, Ridgecrest and Antelope Valley locals. A lot of the state series racers show up as it's a good hard race course. It's a ways out for most of the regulars on this board but the camping is cheap and there are cabins and motels in town as well. Takes me about 1.5 hrs from Palmdale if I'm not in a hurry.

    Got a great DH course which usually attracts some pros. Marla Strebb raced the pro men one year and spanked 'em all. I think this year it has series points?

    That 3 weekends in a row might do me in, I'll keep you posted to see how it pan's out.

    I raced there 2 years ago and I'm thinking of going back this year. I need redemtion for that rock garden that bent my rear wheel on the 1st race run.

    I raced the downhill on my XC hard tail one year (long time ago) and I got pretty bent. My stumpy was wasted at the bottom but it was a lot of fun.
