What an amazing weekend. Kernville is spectacular as well as camp nelson. So much scenry, adventure, pain, and down hill. After this trip Im stoked to see the rest of the world. I also now know shuttle does not necessarily mean downhill, and cannel was tough! The moon kept us seeing at night. The folks at Sequoia Mountain Adventure are the raddest folks around and will take care of you on my new favorite trail (doesn't mean much anymore) Nelson. The thing I will take away from this trip, is the awesome vibe I got from every single person there. Everyone was a blast and freindly as can be. You cant ask more from life than great friends, amazing views, and a great time. This trips going to stick with me for a while. Thanks a bunch everyone! Happy Trails!

    Well put Mo!

@ Rox - we did just one more run...Mo's bike had had enough. (But so had I. So much fun, but I was feeling my reserves draining fast on that last run.)

    Definitely going back some day...

Great Times, I decided to go on this ride last minute and so glad I did. The plunge is a trail everyone should put on their list to ride. Even though it's a shuttle and they say only 1800ft ascending it was tough. After 20 miles of riding to the plunge I was ready for it. The 8 mile descend was epic, I was wishing for more at the end.
The next day Rich and I rode Just Outstanding and it was another great trail. I could ride the first 5 miles all day. The climb out with the extra credit of going the wrong way made the beer at camp taste even better.
Thanks to all for the life long memories.

The Plunge is not just a ride, but a perpetual memory. Great good-time pics.

We had the best time on this trip! Thank you Pat for holding it all together!
Mo and I tented it. A little rough sleeping on the dirt... Thank you Rich for the coffee and extra blankets and for letting Pat spoon with you in your "stabin-cabin" :)
Great riding w/ Queen TMI and Ray at Camp Nelson too. Great people = Great trip.

    Good times!

I'll post up some vid clips this week.

I didn't get AZ Tim stacking on the Plunge. It was a brutal-looking slow-ish crash, but thankfully no serious outcome although confined to boozing on Sunday.

Sunday the Weasel and I did Just Outstanding to Waggy Ridge. Sa-weet!

Thanks to Pat and everybody. Great vibe, fun times and stellar riding. Hope to meet up again...

Great reports and photos guys. Wish I could have made it.

Mo - More problems with the Knolly? What did I tell you about buying Canadian, eh? Btw, you're too young to say RAD.

    Awesome Mike!

It was great spending the weekend with everyone, even if I didn't ride with you much...

Rich - there is no better friend!
    Mark - technical master!
    Mo - hard-core shredder!
Dave - hard to keep up with you!
    Rox - Queen of TMI!!!
Ray - we need to ride more!
    Dan - where'd he go?
    Mike - stoke-meister!
Mike's wife (great lady, I'm sorry I can't recall her name)
The Arizona Boys: Sam, Tim, and Zach - livin da life!
Aaron - dude, saw you for like 30 seconds!
    Oscar - hard-core adventurer!
...and I know I'm forgetting people...

To the guy who had the flat on the plunge and needed help - keep riding! Look for the fun, however/wherever you can!

To the poeple at MRA - Thanks for putting this on, even in tough times! You run a great campground, and the shuttling was great!

To Shidan and Margaret at Sequoia Mountain Adventures - you're awesome! We had a great time, and hope to be back soon! That's one bad-ass trail you have there, and I look forward to exploring more.
