Keep in mind that this site is AJAX-enabled. It's a little bit of code that makes things happen dynamically.

When you create a new PM and go to enter names in the To: box, just type the first 3 letters of the recipient and a pop-up will show that will list suggested screennames. Click on the one you want or use your keyboard arrows and hit enter, then type more...

If you click on "Quick Links" then "Open Your Buddy List" you'll be able to click the check boxes next to your buddies' names and send a PM. It's kind of buried in sub-menus and not easy to get to.

You just have to take the time to add the people you PM the most.

I tried making a shortcut to the "Open My Buddies" link, but it doesn't work properly. You can only open it by going through the submenu.

    Hope that helps a bit.

The truth is i've been around and on this site much longer than you and many of the othir noobies. Who are you to come in and start talking about my fate on the site? I feel like you detract from the xperiene seeing your name on every single thred and the fact is, I will alwayz be more of and STR vetrin then you'll ever be. Just because Im not a post hore like you who is averging almost 8 posts a day and that FooFighterr guy has almost 15 posts a day, does he belong here more then I do? That all doesnt mean I dont belong here. IM a southern califonia mt. biker just like you and everyone else and for you to start thinking you can say who can and cannot be here is hogwash.

    Mr Jackson stay ha ha

I think Mr Jackson has seen me ride hmm I wonder who he is .

His humor is dry and sometimes misunderstood by the newbies but it can still be funny.

It might just need a comedic tune up.

Some of the comments crack me up almost as much as pain freaks comedy .

Laughter is great but maybe it has to be generally funny things.

The things I think are funny are.
    1. When Neil rides with a trailer with a cooler filled with ice cold drinks in it up hill eating a sandwich and passes a guy who thinks he a bad @ss.

The look on his face is great. Its even better when he is riding the pink puss SS bike.

Just about every comment Pain Freak says cracks me up. They are not mean and they are mostly true. Just funny. Just pointing out the obvious.

Ok I'm done I am getting tired.

    Good night Be@tches

"The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 2 characters."

For some reason, I get this message sometimes when I try to post. I know my post is longer than 2 characters. I have been unable to post at all on this thread....

I don't understand all you people hating on Steven Jackson. There are a lot more people on this site that are total post whores and don't contribute much of anything worthwhile compared to Steven Jackson. At least what he says is funny most of the time assuming you have a sense of humor. I have a few people on my "ignore" list because they annoy me and don't offer anything of value, perhaps you all should do the same if he bothers you that much mmmmmmK.

    Hi George --

    PROBLEM:

I have belonged to DPReview (a camera site) for many years prior to coming here and was very used to their forum system. Thus, I've never been rill comfortable with the forum system you've got going here. Specifically, the thing that irks me is that once posts leave the front page, they are muy difficil to find. It follows that the posts that leave the front page are thereafter relegated to whatever particular forum they were posted into, but I find them really hard to find after they leave the home page.

    SUGGESTION:
It would be nice if there might be a link at the bottom of the most recent posts on the home page that goes just to a long list of posts that lists all posts in chrono order (much like the home page) -- say 30 to a page -- and then you can just keep paging back in time to see all postings to the site, separate from the individual forums.

    Make sense?

I also like the Thanks Button. It's chummy.

Who is Steven Jackson? *blink* *blink*

    (don't flame me, dood)

i think the site functionality wise is pretty solid. although sometimes the 'wait 60 seconds' or what not in between PMs can bug, but that is about it. i know you want the best for the site, but don't over do it, sometimes less is more.

Indeed it is! Never seen that over there on the Forums page (d'oh!). Still think it would be cool to have that link to Today's Posts (or is it All Posts?...) out there just under the post listing on the homey page.

In any case, thanks for pointing out my dumassness, Mr. Burner.
