You might be surprised. I've found HP in a number of major supermarkets. That said, I prefer Daddie's. Now, you might have a more difficult time tracking down your Heinz beans, but you can always make a road trip down to the O.C. to visit the British Grocer in downtown Fullerton. Awesome bangers, pasties and other grub.

Can you tell i'm married to a Brit?

They sell HP locally, I've kind of gone off it though. I was more a fan of HP Fruity but you cant get that :-(
There's a candy store in Laguna that sells all the UK sweets and there's a shop on El Toro that sells proper British food too. Beware of fake Cadburys tho, check the small print to see whether its made under license by Hersheys because if so it'll taste like wood with sweetner added to it.

OMG! Americans are so uneducated. Guiness is served extra cold because its a stout. Only certain bitters are served at room temperature and even then there arent many served this way. I'm not even sure how you lot have survived without us showing you the way!

Actually, I was told, in Ireland, that you MUST drink the Guiness cold--I think the warm Guiness was just a joke played on Americans some time ago.

Oh, and you know how to tell if you have a good pour? There should be a ring left around the glass from the foam, from top to bottom, when you're done.

Speaking of Guiness and chocolate, have you tried Guiness chocolate? heeehee

And speaking of Cadbury Chocolate, has anyone found the Cadbury egg bars? I only saw them at a few places in Ireland and soooooooo miss them :(

BTW, little English shop off of Valley View just off of the 22fwy with great scones (award winning in fact)

mmmmm Guinness. That's the best after-ride drink evar. Not that it helps with recovery, but damn is it good. Not to mention the hunger pangs are slightly decreased.

I'll drink it even if it's only slightly cold. However it comes out of the cooler is good :D

If you bring Nigerian Guiness to the next ride, I'll refrain from picking on your for the first week, if it's good, maybe longer :drunk:

I'll take orders on my next trip to the UK - I'll bring over any food that anyone wants and Shimano/Mavic stuff is a damn sight cheaper in the UK too.

They've got g'day. We have Good day - which is very formal and a bit tongue in cheek.
