Very sweet... I love that pic of the red CK stuff... If you haven't built the wheelset yet, I really recommend the Flow rims from Stans instead of the 355's. Much more stable...

Just emailed Brett. I suspect they're busy prepping for SOC, but maybe they'll have a Minute (pun intended) to check for me...

I ended up with Arches. I'm still debating Flows, we'll see how well the Arches hold up for now...

You shouldn't need the Flow wheelset.

It's just too bad that you can't get them for the front hubs. I am running a King in the back with fun bolts and a Paul fDisc in front with bolt-on kit.

Do you have pics or something to share...?

I know they are overkill, but damn those things ride nice. I am sure that the arch's are fine though...

I've killed an Arch before on that G-out cluvert at Fontana. No hucks no jumps. I replaced it with a Flow rim b/c the 5 mile walk back sucked.#-o

    Me too!

The guy helping me order everything just found the last 120mm T/A Manitou from BTI - Hopefully their inventory was accurate and it actually exists. If so, then it's all been ordered and should be in my hands soon.

    This has been arduous.

Uhm, yeah - That vid is proof that Arches are ok.

Everything is on the ground in Eureka! My guy has to cut the spokes this weekend and then it'll ship out early next week to me. I should be riding it next weekend!

    I love my 355s.

My friend has the Arch and loves them, too.

You can't go wrong with Stan's rims on your 29er.

So, shipping "early next week" apparently meant wait until Thursday to get it sent out. Unfortunately, it's 2 days from there to the Bay Area.

Nothing more frustrating to watch UPS tracking and know that your bike is less than 40 miles away and there is NO way to get the package. Ugh.

So, in preparation for the new bike's arrival, I put together a new workbench with a wood top so that I can securely mount the wheel truing stand and have a place for all my bike related tools. That was the weekend project, along with cleaning out the garage (I have my own, separate one car garage for my hobby stuff so that Jen never sees my mess), which was an awful mess of RC tires, boxes, dirt, etc...

About 20 minutes ago, I got the call from my UPS Store people that the packages have indeed arrived - I'm having a REALLY hard time staying at work this afternoon, LOL!

Day one of the build. A couple issues - Rear drive side dropout is bent, but at least it's replaceable and won't be a huge deal (I pressed it flat and got it into roughly the right position, but I'll replace it.) Frame got scuffed when the HS was installed, but again, no big deal. Initial impressions on the Canzo frame - Solid construction, good geometry, bad paint. Very thin paint and the matte finish shows EVERY fingerprint.

My guy forgot to throw nipples onto the order, so my original plan of building wheels on day one and day two was thwarted, so I had to call an audible and start with the bike itself.

I'll let the pics do the talking:
