Are you ready for one of the finest endurance races in all of Southern California?? Huge loops, great scenery and a variety of riding surfaces from pavement, to dirt road to single track await you.
Based out of Frank Lane Park right in the heart of Julian. Camping and lodging nearby, but since October is a busy time of year in Julian, make your reservations as soon as possible.
You have a choice of 3 different race routes. 50, 64 and 86 miles. You can decide at any point what distance you wish to race.
The 50 miler is perfect for the first time Julian Death Marcher or those who wish to challenge themselves but are not in top condition.
The 64 miler follows the same route as the 50 miler but adds the Rodriquez Canyon and Oriflame Canyon loop into the mix for more suffering!
The 86 miler follows the same route as the 64 miler but adds the Santa Ysabel Open Space preserve into the mix for the maximum amount of suffering!
For complete details and for registration information please check out our web page on the Julian Death March at: http://www.julianactive.com/Julian7500.htm
For those interested in pre riding the course a local rider by the name of Sam is willing to go out on weekends. Give him a call or text at 951-501-9242
We hope to see you there!

Less than a week out. Looking at the weather forecast, it appears there is a good chance of rain Wed and Thursday of this week, clearing up Friday. Hopefully this will tack up the trails and dirt roads nicely. Forecast for Saturday is Sunny with highs in the mid 60's. You can still register online through active.com. We are getting rain up in Julian right now (Wednesday evening) but the weather forecast looks great for Saturday. You may register the day of the event at Frank Lane Park in Julian. Be there by no later than 7:00 A.M. Race starts at 8:00 A.M.

Yeah, but you're bad-ass. I'm still dreaming of events like this (and CC/VQ). Some day...
