Been following the posts on FB. She got sick her last night in Whistler (thought it was food poisoning) and hasn't been able to keep anything down since. 2 trips to the ER and now Choc hospital. Praying for answers my sweet adopted granddaughter!!!
Thanks for all ur thoughts and prayers everybody. We just talked to the doctors and they ruled out all the super serious bad stuff thru a series of test some very painfull. They are saying she picked up a virus in Canada and her stomach is rejecting anything she eats. She's on a IV for fluids and soon she will be back eating hopefully in the next day or two. She's bummed because she wants out of here but she knows she will stay here till she is all better. Me and elvia have been sleeping here with her and have been telling her about all of you wishing her recovery and get wells. We will keep you informed if anything changes......and thank you all again.
good news regarding it not being "serious" please wish julia the very best for a speedy recovery. i am not too far from Choc so if you guys need anything PM me and its there
Dang Canadians! They give us everything they don't want. First it was Keanu Reeves, next it was Nickelback and Justin Bieber. Now their viruses!!! Let's retaliate and ship them the Twilght Saga actors. I'm glad it's not serious. Take care of the family, Stu. Get well soon!

Does she know that she already won the WLC and it's ok to eat again? It's got to be those dang Canadian brain worms... Sorry I wasn't able to make it by today.. I'm going to try again tomorrow, but I hope she's out by then. Give her a hug for me. I need her to ride my bike up hills.
Only solution is to go back to whistler. Apparently leaving caused this illness. Get well soon Julia.
