I asked her about her collection she's not real clear right now. All is good. This morning she tried walking without the brace but her knee is still floppy. Apparently someone told her they were walking two day's later. I tell her everyone is different and the procedure may have been different. She is starting to put pressure on her leg. I remind her the doctor suggested she take this slow. She was real happy to get out yesterday to the premiere of "here we go again". The blues were kinda of kicking in this thread made her smile. -Elvia
Could have been worse, grasshopper... like back surgery! The good news is that you'll heal quickly (young)... the bad news is that you can't ride your bike right now... but this too will pass.
i donnt have any mtb movies but i got all kinds of dvd's new and old movies and when i say new i mean NEW like ones u might see in the theater only...let me know
She had medium tear meniscus and bone fragments floating around. The doctor told me of a 3rd issue but I can't... I need to ask him again on her next visit. All is good but I don't do well seeing her in pain. -Elvia

We really missed you and Julia on Sunday during my ride......she would've had a blast riding w/ Jake and Paulina! Really hope to see you both before I leave.
Julia just came back from having her stitches removed. She now understands why her recovery might be slower different than others. Her meniscus would actually flap when she bent her knee. Also, there was some bone that needed shaved (Uh Yeah!) I had to actually look at the pictures. Then other minor issues. Her brace will stay on for another two weeks, physical therapy will start next week. Riding is out for the next 6 weeks it's possible they might let her spin in physical therapy. At some point they will fit her with a brace for riding. Her face of course was not a happy one -- yet she is on her way to riding without the knee issues. -Elvia
i had a meniscus tear as well that would flap and get stuck in my knee cap, when she gets a brace if you can splurge for a better one, cti asterisk that would be best the donjoy one i have is horrffic,
sounds like we need to plan a 4th of julia comeback ride! be a good patient, julia...we won't have any fun until you get back.
It's not all bad she gets rides from the security guards at school to her classes. And her big sis is still being nice to her. Her band teacher is coping with her missing a parade.
