Does this mean I have to 'take care' of my bike and not just get on and 'ride'? ;)

I can probably help you with that at some point, even if you don't get it into the clinic. I take it that it's an older marz fork? if so, there's not a lot to them.

You should ask Fred if there's room for another spectator. And if you have something you really need to work on you could have my spot. I was gonna do a brake bleed but as there is another set of juicy 7's getting a bleed I can just learn by watching.

if you can find new hoses for my avid bleed kit, I'll bring it along with me and help you out at fontucky this weekend. just the hoses between the fittings and the syringes have cuts and holes from being broken down by brake fluid #-o

Thanks though it's not an absolute necessity. I just want to know how to. My brakes get squishy when my bike is upside down. Once I pump them a few times while riding they work good as new. (a little air in the brake system never hurt anyone...right? [-o-])

as long as they work right-side up, they're fine. they DO need a bleed, but it's not as critical as when you, say, have air in your caliper. FWIW, my J7's on my trek are the same way, and I don't lack any trust for them when they're in riding position, despite what others say.

if you just wanna know how:

    works stunningly

I can help people with basic adjustments, that Lee taught me at the previous clinic. I also want to learn how to take my bottom bracket apart and clean it and all that good stuff.

RSVP's are closed. We're actually a little heavy, but I know I can recruit at least 3 of you to help others instead of working on your own rides ;)

It looks like we'll have a pretty good sized group of "bleeders" working together too.

I can give up one of my bike spots - and YES, my hubby and I both want to ride, eat, drink and be merry before - any tour guides??
