    OK Guys,

    It's on!! Please RSVP HERE

Someone's been badgering me to put this together. I won't name my muse, but the letters DB and DW are VERY significant. :D

Things went very well Last Time It should be a blast again.

This is the "feeler" and since it's an STR event YOU can choose some of the details.

The Venue is set, and available to us ANY night after work at Fullerton Bicycle Co.
    424 East Commonwealth Ave
    Fullerton, Ca 92832
    714.879.8310

We just need to let Mike know, and leave the place as neat as possible when we're done.

We're thinking about a month form now (Feb 16-22) In the past we've done Tuesdays, but the night is open for discussion. I'll give special consideration to anyone who has missed a clinic because it was on "the wrong night".

    What say you?

I'm also reaching out to the STR wrenches (you know who you are) again. Come out and help (again) if you can. It's allot of fun to teach others, and make them get all greasy tearing apart their BB or headset something really nasty!!! :p

    What say you?

I keep asking about a ride before, or dinner, or beverages. But it ususally winds up being phoned in pizza and raiding the cooler for sports drinks. Should we formalize something else?

    What say you?

    I say..
    1) Count me in!
    2) Thursday's are a no-go (Fully Loop)
    3) Freddie, Lee and SarBoats are three of the best "teaching mechanics" I have ever seen.
Much can be learned from them
    4) I will work hard to find (two more) mechanics.
    I won't mention names... Cough.. Pato/RacinJason.... Cough... 8-[
...I hope I am not getting sick
    5) It's a hands-on event (i.e. fix it yourself)! Participants learned how to tune deraillers/remove cranks/pivot bolts/brakes/true wheels... you name it!
    6) Great way to meet people

    Thanks Freddie...

I can probably help with some stuff. I'm no Lee, but I can do most basic stuff and explain how to do it.

What I would like to do is a service on my fox TALAS 32. anyone able to help me out with that? or should I pony up and let the path do it? or possibly push :-k

If I Am around I will come help, I may not be best mechanic but I can always help with the small stuff, maybe even teach Zachs, use the gloves system of wrenching:lol: Or maybe we can build a bike from the ground up if something has arrived:-k

    Just a regular service?

I'm pretty sure we've got the seals (I'd check if closer to the date is I were you). Sounds do-able. We'll see.

Since you asked first, pretty good. What are you thinking about? We've got to do it after hours mind you.

I'm interested in going to another one. The last one I learned a great deal and would love to help others and learn more advanced stuff.

I could probably couldn't make it if it was on a Tuesday, Wed, or Friday though due to class and coaching. So weekends are good for me.

I haven't done a TALAS 32, but I've done a few Floats (including one just last week). Assuming the basic service is the same, it's very easy to do.

Fred- i'd be down schedule permiting. would be way cool to do it on a "non-skool night" so maybe parlay into a loopy loo ride and post ride/clinic nuttiness (i,e beers)

I'd like to come and learn, especially fork service, brake bleed. I can't do Wed nights.

Fred, thanks for organizing, I'm in. I went to the first one about a year ago when Duc helped out, whenever that was. Der adjustment is still killing me.

Friday nights work best for me and I am very interested in this. I will try and figure out a way to go even if it is on another night depending on what time it starts at.

Anyday besides Wed or Thurs is good for me.

I still suck at adjusting deraileurs and lots of other stuff. And I need to learn how to bleed disc brakes.

    Thanks for organizing Fred!
