This has been a great year, and as others have noted before, we too met some great people and had a lot of fun riding with those we were fortunate enough to have met through this forum.. that said, it's very tough to summarize such a great year in so few pics.. but below I've noted some highlights.. can't wait to see what 2013 has in store for us..

I got a lot of time to ride with my kids this year, my son Jake (12) has progressed amazingly from his start two years ago and my daughter Ryan, 8, has also come a long way since she started last year. This year in March I hosted a family ride 10 people RSVP'ed, over 40 showed up here are some pictures from it:

This is only a small portion of the riders!

Ryan (in blue shirt) following one of the best Dad an son teams I have seen. I think the only word that little guy knows is "Faster!"

Nothing but smiles from these guys all day.

    Ryan on the way up.

She was pushing him up the hill.

    Jake with a new buddy!

    Samusick and his boys.

A little later in the year the kids tried out Over The Hump.

Jake did the first race and decided that it wasn't his thing, but he looks like he was having fun here!

Ryan took to racing like a fish to water, she loved it!

She took 8 first place finishes and one third!

Ryan and Conner with our shops team.

Conner who is 7 got a chance to race, he finished dead last at every race, but had as much fun as anyone.

Each and every Wednesday from the beginning of summer all the way up to this week I had an open invitation to anyone who wanted to ride in the afternoons. We rode with a lot of different people. Sometimes it was just the kids and I but sometimes we were joined by several dads and their kids and even one mom and her son. Some of the STR members we rode with include Grego and Vincent, McG715 and Ryan, Taco Bike and his daughter Morgan, Dirtvert and Greengiant with their Wednesday crew, Blacksheep, and of course my good buddy Samusick.

Interesting Year for riding for me. January rode in Torres Del Paine in Patagonia. April hit up Zen and Gooseberry. September Guacamole, Phil's World and the Whole Enchilada. Plus a whole year of riding all the local trails with a JDM thrown in for good measure. Plus one weekend trip to Ojai in November on the Duc. Not a bad year at all on 2 wheels.

Is that a "78" SR500?, if so that is one of the BEST stock chassis for ice racing! Very nice, thanks for taking to the "Way Back Machine"!
