for those that haven't been, heres a map:
    http://ocparks.com/uploadgraphics/2008_Whiting_Map.pdf

you guys down for this loop:
borrengo -> cattle pond -> mustard -> cactus hill trail -> santiago ranch rd -> vulture view rd -> sage scrub -> serrano cow trail -> live oak trail -> bake pkwy -> trailhead

if you dont want to climb santiago ranch rd, you can go down sleepy hollow to serran cow trail.

i do this loop and its pretty fun!

I think i might be in for this event. I really want to get back on the MTB

Is there an address I could use to Google directions on how to get there?

also looking at your Stinky180's plan I dont see where live oak trail meets up with bake pkwy unless you ment portola pkwy.

I like this loop with the addition of a quick detour to Line Shack (right before the Live Oak Split) for some extra climbing. This is a nice bonus and you get to ride Serrano Cow Trail a second time.

If you are a real masochist you can head up Dreaded after Line Shack and do something down from Four Corners...

Nice idea, Niel. Sounds like a fun ride and weather permitting (if I'm not snowed in), I may well be in too.

George and Bret together on the same ride? Cool... I haven't ridden with the both of you since the Steppie Flannel Ride.

Bret, you can also use my Yeti 575 if you want.
