    I HAVE THE CHANCE To purchase a 29er prototype for 800 bucks. :-k knowing me as the in house DH rider, should i buy this bike or should i spend the money elsewhere, say new Dh gear?? :?:

    Go for it and buy the SS. Explore into different type of riding & trails instead of riding Del Cerro every weekend.

    self proclaimed in house DH rider, huh. nice -you're in good company with others such as Gore - who of course invented the intenet. just wondering does it get lonely being the only DH'er :lol:

    If I make it out there tonight (30% chance now), I'll bring it and you can take it for a ride. I don't know what type of gearing you're used to, but it has a 32/20 on it now. I usually push a 32/21.

    its a 29er right? that gear u got will do fine. I'm on 32-19 right now but not for that long either he he. what type of petals u got on it?

    Yeah - it's a Chumba 29er. It's got some cheapie SPDs on it right now.

    yeah i dont think im going to get it cuz i dont need a 29er and del cerro IS the only place i ride since ive never been anywhere else close
    ino there are a few dhers here but tour numbers are few
