This was Saturday morning. Don't know who it was but came across the scene just after it happened. Middle-aged woman went down hard. It was on Meadows in a place you would not expect- about 1/4 of the way down on one of the longer straights. She was about 10-15 feet past a small dip in the trail, so my guess is she got crossed - up in the dip and went OVB - HARD. She was knocked out at first, then was awake but not moving. Her wrist was pretty banged up, and the side of her face was a mess. The Laguna FD responded quickly to the scene. I took off after they arrived.

    I hope she is OK.

This must be three for Aliso this weekend.
About 4pm on Saturday, A rider went down and we called 911.
Somehow he endo'd, got his finger in the disc brake and, well, they were looking for the finger.
    Freak accidents happen.

Everyone, please ride safely, and come home in one piece.

I think you know where the finger went. I put it in a baggie and gave it to the paramedic. I hope they could reattach it. Strange and gruesome accident.

Get well vibes here for our downed members. A friend of mine lost part of a finger in a freak accident too. He recovered from it and still hauls and kick my "B" on the uphill.
