I read your post and thank you for that bit of information. So, you don't like I9's? :?:

Do you feel that if you used Chris King hubs that would not have happen?:?:

Just curious, because you might've had a bad batch or just too aggressive? i don't know, im just throwing it out there.

I've had my I9's since December 2007. ~10,000 miles on them. No servicing required.

forgot the word "idiot" in front...ie, somebody who knows a lot (about wheels), but only a lot about that one subject (ie, wouldnt know how to get a deal)

I didnt say I didnt like them. I gave my impressions, take em or leave em. "I wont buy them anymore" does not equal "I dont like them".

The proper inference is that all things considered, for ME, not necessarily YOU, I "prefer" other wheelsets now, but still may like I9s

In summary, I dont give an eff what you or anybody else buys, only care about myself

i am no L.A., just some dumb guy that tries to compete with the truly athletically gifted people.

i re-read your PRO tutorial on e-dirt application and feel that i am at least a CAT2 e-rider now.

I like I9s, the pair I ran on the 26er I sold are still in my garage and if I don't sell them I will likely invest in some longer spokes and lace them up to 29er hoops to use them on my RIP9. I haven't had any problems with them, and they did come with extra spokes when I bought the wheels - so far I haven't had to use any of them though...
