In the Saddle after 16 years

    So my old bike is a 1987 Panasonic MC3500. I hear you laughing.;) Alot of weekend rides and a handful of races for like 3 seasons back then. I think the biggest ride I did was Coyote Klunker like 3 times. I also did Figueroa Moutain Road in Santa Ynez.
    So I got a 09 Stummpy Marathon HT 29er. Damn I got a great bike. #-o I just have to get in some shape to really enjoy my new bike.
    So I missed 16 years and I love my bike. I'll be starting off with some easy stuff first. Hoefully I can work up to getting back up to the top of Saddleback like I use to. See all you gals and guys on the trails
    Yeah I have a skinned knee now.:lol:

    that is a pretty big ride. bishop at 4000' to the top of the coyote country at 11,000'+ and back agin

    i did a version of it in '94, tho rode portions as early as '89

    I always laugh at this pic cuz I didn't even take my rack off for a race. :lol:
    So hoping to get some legs back on me after not riding for a long ass time. And to think I was doing the top of Saddleback every Sun morning for a while on a 31 lb 87 Panasonic hard tail.
